Out & About
Knoydart has a wealth of activities to do during your stay. Amongst these are:
Walking:
The Knoydart Peninsula is well known for some of the best hill walking trails. The most famous being “The Munros” which many guests try to conquer during their stay here.
Tailor-made guided walks can also be arranged by contacting rangers@knoydart.org or The Knoydart Foundation who can also provide you with a “Wildlife Kit”.
Fishing:
Fishing is available on the nearby River Inverie and Kilchoan Estate Lochs. Salmon, brown trout and sea trout are among the “catch of the day”. For further details visit the Kilchoan website .

Stalking:
Deer stalking is provided by a professional deer-stalker. The stalking runs from mid August until mid October for stags, and mid October to mid February, for hinds. Full deer-staking packages are available from Kilchoan Estate, or contact The Knoydart Foundation.
Entertainment:
If you fancy a night out why not try The Old Forge, the remotest pub in the British Isles. Situated in the heart of Inverie, the pub has great food, great “craic” and great entertainment.
For the occasional Ceilidh, Scottish Dancing and Film Nights, held throughout the year, contact Knoydart Arts.
For a quieter more relaxed atmosphere why not try Pier House Restaurant.
